In short

sPresso has no account, no ads and no tracking. It works with the iCloud account already on your iPhone.

Your location

Your location is used on your iPhone to show the cafés around you and to check that you are inside a café before you rate it, test its WiFi or claim it. It is never sent to sPresso.

What you add

Prices, WiFi measurements, ratings and cafés you add are stored in sPresso's public iCloud database so everyone can see them, linked to an anonymous iCloud identifier, never to your name or email. Your own history of contributions is stored in your private iCloud, readable only by you.

Café owners

Official photos, presentation and hours published by a café's owner are public. A report about a listing is read by sPresso staff only.

Payments

The My café subscription is sold and billed by Apple. sPresso never sees your payment details.

Services used

Apple Maps for places and maps, iCloud (CloudKit) for data, Apple's speed-test servers for WiFi tests. No analytics or advertising services.
